Overview
A three-inverter islanded microgrid example that demonstrates proportional load sharing, droop control, and supervisory restoration of voltage and frequency.
This model demonstrates islanded operation of an inverter-based microgrid using classic droop control. It is one of the best starter uploads for the community because it is technically meaningful while still being easy for users to understand and extend.
The setup includes three parallel inverters rated at different capacities, connected to a common bus and sharing load through P/F and Q/V droop mechanisms. A supervisory controller can restore frequency and voltage to nominal values, making the model useful for both teaching and serious control validation.
