Connecting GFM inverter with OP8110 Power Amplifier

I have already connected three phase GFL inverter with Power Amplifier OP8110. We did not use isolation transformer. And we use Hpyersim to do the GFL inverter testing. However, if we want to connect GFM inverter with Power Amplifier OP8110, should we need an isolation transformer?

@Vincent_Jiang The OP1400/ OP1420/ OP1400PR testbenches have an isolated bi-directional DC power supply, and hence by extension, the output of the OP8110 is isolated as well.

An additional isolation transformer is therefore not needed, for GFL or for GFM connection to the OP8110 of the OP1400/OP1420/ OP1400PR testbench.

The GFM operates as a voltage source, and so does the OP8110. Operating the OP8110 as a load emulator (current emulator) would simplify the integration with a GFM.

Depending on the filter structure of the GFM, an additional inductance may be required between the GFM and the OP8110. In such cases, the leakage provided by a isolation transformer could be helpful. But the isolation in itself is not needed for GFM to OP8110 connection.
