HYPERSIM advanced data visualization with NI LabVIEW

Overview

Create advanced data visualizations with this project template prepared for HYPERSIM and NI LabVIEW.
Communication between HYPERSIM and LabVIEW is done via the natively supported TCP I/O Interface.
LabVIEW features native components tailored for electrical engineering, allowing you to plot raw, high-frequency physical phenomena directly from HYPERSIM simulation.

Time domain charts, polar plots, XY plots, waterfall and more graphical capabilities.

Getting Started

  1. Copy the provided folder to your design. You can change folder name, but keep all the inner contents as they are to avoid dependency issues. Two main demo panels are included in the project.
  2. “Main Simple Demo Panel.vi”
    A simple LabVIEW panel made to write and read values from HYPERSIM.
  3. “Main Charts Demo Panel.vi”
    A more advanced LabVIEW panel showing different plots with usage of functions made for data display.
  4. Stream configuration controls on those examples let you configure LabVIEW side very similar to what is done in HYPERSIM, simplifying the creation of the Panel. Only four functions handles all communication (Open, Read, Write, Close), while a few other functions were created to manage different data display types.
