Step-by-Step
Create a new HYPERSIM model
Open HYPERSIM → File → New → choose your target folder, name your file, and click Save
Open the Network Import tool
Go to the Network section of the main ribbon → click Network Import
Select PSCAD as source format
Choose the PSCAD option in the import dialog
Select your .pscx file
Browse to your PSCAD model (only .pscx files from PSCAD v4 and v5 are supported)
If your model uses components from a custom library, place the library file in the same folder as the .pscx file
Configure import options (optional)
Only DLL configurations — restricts import to PSCAD DLL config files
Remove not connected buses — auto-cleans unconnected buses
Click Import and wait for the “Import successful” confirmation
Review Conversion Reports
A folder ConversionReports_YYYY-MM-DD-HH-mm is created next to your input file
Check hs_import.log and {model_name}_mapper.log for skipped or unsupported components
